Begg are recognised as the manufacturer of the finest cashmere accessories in the world. Based in Ayrshire, Scotland, they are renowned in the textile industry for producing a unique cashmere material using a combination of contemporary design coupled with technology, craft and process that dates back many hundreds of years. Unsurprisingly, their clients include other very well known French and Italian 'Craft Houses'.

In recent years however Begg has been faced with an interesting and familiar problem. With the demise of the Multi Fibre trade agreement, countries with a large cheaper labour forces have been handed the potential to dominate the textile industry.

In response to this and in order to sustain growth, Begg have devised a strategy to strengthen its own brand. With this in mind, Marque was brought on board to help launch Begg own branded products. The result is a perfect combination of craft and dynamism, evoking the spirit of the brand – the identity evolving into a beautiful array of foil blocks, die stamps and textured paper stocks – the photography and art direction looking at the cashmere as art.
